The Proteam and APP elbow aren't the same...not the ones I'm talking about anyways.

But after battling right right feeds the only thing I really look for is that it isn't the type that raises the hopper up more than absolutely neccesary.

And the guy saying "this is 2013 and we are discussing this' really makes me want to shoot right feeds exclusively.

Other than making sure you have the right size, the most important factor in buying an elbow (to me) is to try and find an elbow that's frosted or hazy. I avoid those clear elbows like the plague.
The clear ones are made of acrlyate (I think) and will most likely ending up cracking on you after a few days. Those frosted elbows like the ones Pro-Team and APP makes are made of nylon and should last you a long time.

I got a good laugh from this! I'm pretty sure that Left/Right feeds outnumber vertical feeds on this site. Or at least it comes pretty close.

In the mid 90s ProTeam had a branded version of the Atomic Elbow, and their grips were made by APP but with "Benchmark" or "Pro Team Products" as the logo.

IIRC it was around '99 that they switched MFGs and started making the clamping ProFeed and offering the new, rubbery 45 grips. They offered both style grips as late as 2004 though, and both feeds. I haven't seen any elbows on their site since the move, though I have seen them at the warehouse.

I apoligize, I did not know APP made the elbows for PTP. I knew about the grips though, as sometimes when I find nos grips, I see the benchmark logo on them.

My fault for not being clear. I much prefer the Atomic elbow anyway! And the grips

I think you have this forum confused with another. RF markers are superior to centerfeed for multiple reasons (unless you're using a space dildo).
