High output external regs

Looking for secondary external regulators with psi output of 1k and above. Anything less is not going to work for my current project.

You probably won't find one designed for paintball applications. The reason being is that even the earliest paintball secondary regs were designed to regulate CO2 and output 850 or less.

I figured as much. But was worth a go. If you find one that could use for but isnt necessarily designed for paintball application let me know.

The old adjustable tank regs were good for 1100 or 1200 psi.

The AA raptors were super cheap for a while there. AGD flatlines are still about on occasion. SP max-flos are good for it too.

If it has to be a secondary arrangement, build a mini-bottle adapter for it (maybe).

I bet so.

Just an inlet adapter or bottom body with tank threads and a thick wall to meet your input. You'll need to tell Palmer's what your input pressure is going to be. The whole concept begs the question of how you're going to tube up the supply to a +1k reg. Doesn't it? Like, what are you up to, Hmm?

Weellllllll. See its not so much something thats hard to fix. Its more something thats hard to fix that meets my picky criteria. In this case. Upon discovering the hammer7's particularly high sweetspot. It made my awesome way of dual regging (or so i thought) with an 8cuin tank plugged into a 0-600 psi male-female cart reg and still staying back bottled. See i refuse to run my tank off the grip. Thats the problem. I COULD just use a maxflow and set my sweetspot that way. But then i couldn't back bottle..... Now another option is i could play with shims until i get my ninja reg to 890 psi output (the hammers sweetspot) . But this may prove difficult. It would be nice to have something LIKE the cart reg. But obviously with a much larger variance. But they dont have that. It would also be nice to have a standard bonnet tank reg thats fully adjustable from 0-1k or even 1200. Or i could also upgrade the internals to drive down the sweetspot. Like a much larger id power tube. But that still may not be enough

Essentially it boils down to...
Because of my non sequitur tastes i am forced to either play with ergonomics i dont like or let my guns performance suffer.

The ninja SHP tank regulator will put out about 1100ish psi with a shim in. However it isn't externally adjustable.

You should ask Palmer's if they can adjust that cart reg, if you haven't. I wouldn't put it past them without asking.

Ninja looses their span of adjustment as they get higher. The SHP runs between 950 and 1100 psi, but they have built much higher outputs (Ando had a 2k?).

I would still compare all that to a new set of internals.

Also, you have to be careful as you get to higher air pressures. The flow chokes around the poppet and just slams it closed early anyway at some point (no more velocity). If you have access to an adjustable bottle, use that to hunt for your input pressure, then figure out how to get there.
