Good, cheap, barrel upgrade for mini

Paint around here is running .682. Recommendations for a relatively cheap barrel upgrade over stock mini barrel? Was thinking one piece CP .685 in 14 or 16 inch. Or should I spend a little more and get a .685 CP barrel back and a CP front?

If you're only going to use one barrel, just get a one piece and save your money. The only reason to get a 2 piece is if you're going to try and underbore or match.

I prefer to get something with inserts though.

I would get the cp 1 piece. Great barrels in my opinion.

ding ding ding. this^. Lurker's for their price point are the best 1 piece barrel on the market. I personally love to use my mine on my trilogy sniper and I've also used it on my CCM'd reflex when a ball was literally too small for .679 and would barely fit in .678. Only seen it a few times but having a .678 barrel in the bag for the price ($30) is so worth it. With that said if you're looking at keeping the mini as a light tight gun I'd freak bore the stock since then you keep the really small tight package which you lose some of with a 14 inch lurker on it.

thanks for the info gang. Also should have mentioned I play mostly woods ball, recreational with friends.

I'm thinking I have a big bore barrel with the stock barrel. (Anyone know the ID of the mini stock barrel?) So if I went with a .685 or .684 now, I could get a .679/8 later and between those three barrels have all i need. Am I missing something?

I'm sure the Lapco is great, but can you explain why it's better than a Lurker or CP to justify the extra expense?

I've seen quite a discussion about having to clean the Lurker barrel after breaks rather than shooting it clean and a couple of remarks about the .679 on the mini not working as well.

what bore size should I look at if I get just 1 now?

ordered the CP .685 Advantage; Lurker wasn't available in dust black and questions asked/issues addressed here about Lurker and Lapco went unanswered. I can always add the smaller bore later. thanks again for the info
