Ive seen genX duckbills close off the co2 tank output port... try unscrewing the tank 1/2 turn.

Did Gen-x's come with regs or no?

Yeah, looks like a LP setup;

Couldn't tell you what Gen X's came with.

What you say really makes me lean to a high pressure tolerance issue. I screwed my HPA (Crossfire high pressure) into it and it acted like it did with with warm co2, a little better actually, but poor enough to lead me to believe its a high pressure issue.

I had previously tried a post 2k valve as well so I'm thinking my solution may be to either expansion chamber it, run a tank on a bottom line with hose for expansion or just wait for cooler weather and give it another try.

Thanks for the help and ideas everyone. I appreciate it.

Pre2k gen x will likely have a lower pressure valve that will likely sweet spot around 400 psi. 10'll get me 20 that you either need a regular or a high pressure valve.

I'm not using a Gen X valve (it came valveless) and I tried a regular valve. I'll look for a high pressure one-any suggestions?

If it does have an lp valve, it's going to be difficult to make it work properly.

Ahh, I took you op as saying it was a gen x valve. Do you have a reg you can throw on and see where it sweetspots ?

You want a valve with a small inlet and small outlet like the two #66 valves on my pic below. You should also probably be using something like a red valve and blue hammer spring for the best efficiency.
