Trilogy springing

So my teammate has a trilogy sport.
Green colored nonregd.
I sold it to him.
I had it at 280 with him. But now no matter what it won't go above 200
Freak kit nice bore fit. I checked that.
Hpa output is 850. I checked.
I can't remember if he cut the springs or bc he had to crank on the velocity adjuster the spring is boogerd.

I looked and couldn't find it but what spring kits should I be looking at for this?
Spyder springs for valve and cocker spring for hammer right?
Also if I were to add a reg. would I still be looking at spring doings for valve?

Ps when adding reg should I really change valve?

He wants reliability. That's it.

And it's pumped.

Before I messed with the Internals of My trillogy Sport, I did have a reg on it. Was getting good consistency with the reg @ 500 PSI and 4 turns in of the IVG.

Currently, with the LP valve and Valve stem, I have the stock valve spring with a Phantom Blue Main Spring. Haven't actually tweaked with that combo yet, however I'm hoping for good results.

The stock trilogy valve is, as you mentioned designed for 800 or so PSI input so a regulator on that valve is not a good idea.

If you buy a palmer LT valve for the trilogy, and a reg, you will have a fantastic gun and that valve comes with a valve spring that works well with it. Its the single best upgrade you could do.

Does the valve not vary between the different models? The pro valve seems to work fine around 300 psi at least.

My Trilogy Select Fires seemed to work best around 350psi.

Some trilogy's came with just a foregrip. These have high pressure valves.

Some came with regulators. These have normal cocker low pressure valves designed for regulated HPA.
