dealing with rollouts on a zeus

if I release the springfeed and the barrel is horizontal or lower, it feeds the remainder of the stack. the zeus is modded with a cocker detent. do they make longer cocker detents or do I need to change something in the barrel? thanks.

have you considered a second cocker detent or any other that would trap the ball on the other side. sounds like you have a group of paintballs that are really small.best remedy i can think of at the moment, outside of sizing paint before purchase, which isn't always feasible.

just my 2 cents, having 4 variants of the same thing. i haven't encountered it yet,but it'll happen sooner or later, let us (MCB) know your fix. you could also PM agent smith or check his threads and posts. he's likely got a fix for this or has modded at least one zeus in his time, lol.

Good luck

I've experienced the same on one or two random occasions, and my detent is sunk low enough where if it were any lower the bolt would hit the threads. IMO, the only way to eliminate rollouts entirely with small paint would be to add a second detent. I just haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

I really didn't want to add another, but drilling and tapping a hole is well within my skillset. I've seen in various other threads around here that people had painted the inside of the barrel (I think on phantoms) just after where the bolt travels, but its pretty tight inside a zeus. we'll see.
