Tank regulators what's the rules?

I know a while back they were changed to milled key slot in the threads. My regulators threads have the relief holes near the top. Are these still ok to use or are the key slot version what is required now?
If I need new regulators, no biggy, my bottles have to be hydro this week. Just want to get them ready to go for later this yr. My Wife wants to make a trip to EMR around June. This was actually her idea

I haven't heard anything about relief holes being not in regs. From what I've heard, at least for CO2 valves, they went from a hole to a groove because companies were using loctite and it can clog the hole. I've also heard loctite is a no no and valves should be properly torqued, but many tank companies didn't want to train employees on how to use torque wrenches.

Thanks for the info, saved me a few dollars I only torque mine on. That way I can remove them when I fly.
