i've removed several(if not every valve i've removed) valves without taking the pringle screw/and nut out and had no problems at all. as long as the "pringle" part of the screw is not bent out of shape or twisted, the valve should come out with no problems. i guess i've been lucky.

yes you have, if the valve binds on top of the pringle, it's like getting your sack caught in a laminator.

alright i got the part out that was broken but i was wondering since i have only used the gun once and i just got it back from palmers like a month ago should i replace the o rings they gave me or should i just keep the o rings that came in the kit for if i really need them?

oh the valve guide the puncture pin broke off and it just leaked the gas out of it.

Honestly, as long as the orings are good with no visible damage, I would leave em on, lube em up and use them again, and replace what's broken, but if you want to replace everything, no harm. Since it's a Kp and not a hurc, there aren't many more anyway.

i got it back together so i loaded a 12g and went to shoot it and all the air still leaked out the little hole under the grip for some reason... does that mean i have to change the o rings too?

you need to put a new seal on the steel chamber plug. that's where it's leaking from.

YAY she fires again! i got it all working good! thanks everybody for the help i guess i just needed to find my inner tinkerer well at least know i know how it all works and how to fix it
