In the OP you had said you were looking into a Phantom, I have a stock Phantom with an adjustable TPC and I get over 30 shots out of a 12'ie. I'm sure I can get more but I always change the 12 gram when I'm putting my third tube in, take that into consideration when you are getting ready to go out on the field. If you only have 5 tubes (60 rounds including the 10 you have loaded) then start the game with a fresh cartridge and you'll only need 1 more.

well when i first started pump, I will never forget it, I picked up a used gloss black sc phantom with the 10 round feed and back bottle adapter. I had a few ten round tubes and had no idea what I was doing. I sucked for the first few months but after I started getting the hang of it. I would go through a bag in a month of play, going every weekend. Now I can go through a bag in 3 weeks of playing. I now have a VSC black phantom customized with a freak barrel, and ported tpc. I love it. i love my phantom, it is the only gun that I do not sell. (the one i have currently i bought new), I sold the used one I had. I just like having new guns that I break in myself and wear down myself. That's me. And I prefer capless set ups. I have the pbmafia capless harness and a dump pouch that works perfectly for me. For scenarios I have some arm bands that carry capped tubes that I got from rockstartactical.com and I have a pbmafia drop leg harness as well. I only break them out for scenarios, if I don't use my T2. I hope that helps! And good luck to you!

How hard is it to change a phantom from open class to stock class and vice versa?

Really easy good sir. Due to the modular design, literally unscrew front thumbscrew slide off body (once barrel is removed just to make it easy) and slide on body of your choice then attach front thumb screw again. Obviously the internals and pump will be a little annoying but nothing major.

Hope that helps

It did. I saw a couple on eBay for $190 each and they have vertical air but open class bodies. This is why I love this place, everyone is so helpful

The best things I did to improve my stock class game were;

1)Move to the front and move as much as possible.
2)Don't be afraid of getting shot
3)Don't shoot at every target, make sure you have a good chance of hitting when you pull the trigger. (Don't long ball)
4)Practice reloading and changing 12 grams at home so it is second nature on the field.
5)Increase accuracy by;
a)Buy good paint
b)Practice
c)Get a stock for the Phantom
d)Get a sight
6)Going cap less with a PBMAFIA Joyride
7)Change 12grams after every 30 rounds even if your gun can do 40
8)Practice snap shooting
9)Stop playing semi for a wile
10)Don't blame the equipment and have fun

now with the new feed neck design, all you do is unscrew the stock class feed and screw on the hopper feedneck.
