I don't think a flatline would work for a phantom with out a new body or really tough paint. When you cock and load a ball in a phantom, many times the ball is not even in the barrel yet. There is a decent sized space before the barrel starts, the ball will sit right above the front grip frame screw. Take your SC feed off and hold the pump back, you will see it. You would be firing the ball directly into the bottom surface of the barrel instead of pushing the ball in to the barrel and then firing.

So you're saying the mod also requires a modified bolt, a'la bore drop. Or the PGP2K Cooper-T bolt with a pusher on the tip. A little extra cushion to get that ball pushin' into the barrel.

the pusher wouldn't be too long and stop the ball from feeding, bore drop would require a whole new body so your back to what I said at first, it would require a new body.
