Mirage valve o-rings

Mirage valve o-rings: I did a project and of course the valve leaks. I was wondering if anyone knows where i can get replacement o-rings (they are brownish color). I am wondering if feeding the valve from the back is tearing the o-rings on the threads for the end cap?

like this valvethe exterior o rings that fit in the groves)

I can probably get you parts from the store I used to work at. I'll know tomorrow what they have left.

I don't think they started off brown, looks like old dirty urethane rings.

Yep. Probably discoloured from 20 years of oil and age.

Some modern nitrile O-rings would probably work fine.
You tried sourcing some of the right size at the hardware store?

This valve/o-ring combo seems cursed.

This valve/o-ring combo seems cursed. I tried black o-rings and rings from other bolts - always a leak.

I even polished the o-ring grooves and checked the original rings under a bright light for tearing.

Would the older originals have lost its spongeness/compression over time?
