GZ-2000 question

So I'm looking at pictures of the old GZ-2000 and I keep wondering: is that 12gram adapter angled upward?

Was this an intentional method to drain liquid into the gun?

It's a reversible Asa, for whatever reason it's supposed to be like that with 12 grams, and switched when using a tank.

You can change the swivel of those ASA's based on where they thread in. (See the little knob at the base? That's the set screw to hold it in place.) It's supposed to be pointing down. Somebody just has it adjusted wrong.

Aside from being mostly plastic, those are really nice 12 gram adapters BTW. Have a really nice feel to them.
