I hope some of the people that are interested in it know that it will probably need some kind of part and they are not easily found.

I remember back when these were for sale There was a lot of discussion on them at PBNation. It looks like all those old threads are still available in the PGI Forum along with Nova discussions as well. The company selling them was Section 8 and there was an employee of theirs on the forum who went by the name Tiny. He posted around 2004 that he separated with Section 8 and I think he was with PGI actually. I can't remember. I seem to remember him having a hand in the Assault 80 too.

PS. I miss my Nova.
If anyone wants some good tuning tips for spool markers (Novas specifically, but may be forward compatable) look for info by Ren. At one time I had compiled all of his tips, but I don't know where the info is now.

Since so many people have actually taken interest in this if like to point out that there has been a Facebook page started called airstar nova enthusiasts.
I have posted a good bit of info that I have collected for those looking for info.

I wish something like that had been around a few years ago... 3-4 years ago, a customer sent in a nonworking Nova, said it was just misassembled. Turned out it was missing a rather important piece- a spool or collar/spacer inside. (That and all but about three of the pellets were gone.)

I could only find one- count it, one- photo online of one partially disassembled, which gave me a bad-cellphone-photo of what the part was supposed to look like. Though the photo had it in the wrong place too.

No internal views, no manuals, no how-tos, no exploded views, nothing.

I not only had to reinvent the bloody part, but figure out how to properly assemble most of the whole damn gun. It was frustrating for a while, but I finally got 'er working.

Doc.

I found links to the info I compiled some time ago. Some still good. Most not.
Link to a bunch of Nova info.

EDIT: Actually, it looks like for some reason if I click on the links from PBNation, they work for me. Not sure why.
