Air America Armageddon Regulator seat

My original reg seat has finally failed, and I know that the AGD Regulator seats are too soft and will fail as well. I've already flipped it over, but it is still allowing pressure fluctuations at pressures below 300 psi. It is rock solid at 600 psi or above.

There is nothing on ebay, even the old first aid kits are gone.

The AA Armageddon reg seat was/is made out of a Dupont Polymer. I found this from the Dan Colby patent application.

"22. The seat seal is a polymer material, preferably DuPont's KEL-F81"

Is this a proprietary part, or I can I source it by another name from Mcmaster-Carr?

That seat will fit, and looks suspiciously like the same material. However, results of google-fu suggested that those seats were still not appropriate.

That part is rated for 3000 psi and the Armageddon tank is 4500 psi. I also never knew that housing actually came with a seat until you posted the link and I took the time to read it!

I've seen that item more than 100 times and never read the details since I had no interest in it. It is still possible that seat will work. I will buy it now and let you know how it goes.

Little to lose at $8.50 with free shipping!

No, They are too soft and will fail prematurely over time. I was considering that option had I not seen the link above.

You can use a Mag seat and reg pin (MUST use both together) in a secondary reg, but NOT in a Primary reg (Tank) system.

Odd... Why is that (the seat/pin combination)? I actually have AGD reg seats in a handful of my AA HPRs (without swapping pins). Admittedly, I don't shoot any of my markers a significant amount, but I haven't observed any issues yet. Is it a durability thing?
