Will installing widgets hurt the value? Im considering sending her into Palmerston for widgets and a performance tune up.

No, it wouldn't decrease the value. Palmer's would only be able to swage two Wedgits in the barrel without re-barreling the gun entirely. The valve job will increase your mileage on CO2.
If I were you, and I was going to keep this as a "Daily Driver", I'd put the money into a re-barrel with Wedgits, a performance tune and a nickel plating job. The "Pro-Touch" trigger job would round out this thing into a real heart-breaker.

I used to make an easy dial a welt for the PMI. Just pull the back cap, punch the center then drill and tap it for a Allen head screw.
With a shim or small washer behind the spring you can adjust spring tension just dial up or down with the screw.

If you have the jingle I would sent that one to palmers and have him trick it out till you ran out of money!

I didn't think I could re barrel this since it was a fixie? The trigger job sounds appealing as the stock trigger feels kind of cheap and plasticy (sorry Velcor). The wedgits is most likely what I will do at a minimum.
