I await some of you guys receiving your tanks before I pull the trigger (if they last that long). Curious about the stamps, and also how much the damage is to Canada...

I think TUV1 and 0035 refer to the TUV standard agency, located in Germany as opposed to the TUV Nord or TUV Sud (off-shoots iirc). EN1975 is the European standard for aluminum bottles.

So German stamped European bottles. As always, it is up to the air station owner as to whether they want to fill a bottle, stamped or not. Not having a DOT/TC stamp for "commerce" or "transport" may or may not be an additional concern to them.

I bought one regardless, if they work I'll probably sell it to someone on here who needs one if the Ebay source runs out.

Very correct the DOT stamp is unimportant really for our purposes. What matters in this case is that it meets hydrostatic testing requirements and is so stamped/labeled.

Will places test a cylinder without a DOT stamp? I bought one regardless. I've essentially turned into a crack whore looking for a 17ci tank. If I were 90 pounds lighter, attractive, and a woman I probably would have had more success.

And this seller has to be wondering how the hell he sold a truck load of these overnight.
