Yeah, tehy are huge, and with the huge gun, you get a huge hammer.

Its truly something to fire one, think of a 68 special, but with %50 more lenght and $75 more mass to the hammer.

Geez, a 68 special hammer already weighs 3/4 of a pound...

How do you reload this thing in the field btw? Set the gun down, walk to the front, then load hopper?

No, you use a 2-man team, just like military machine gun crews.

Player #1 can carry the gun itself.
Player #2 can carry the co2 tank, paint and tripod.

Then player #1 can concentrate on firing, while player #2 can concentrate on keeping the gun loaded. They can then use wireless headsets to communicate with each other, and coordinate.

Funny how short the barrel is. Its as if Brass eagle realized how ridiculous the length was, and so they compensate with a bobbit-size barrel.

I would love to own one of these. Just for the length, kick and sound. I'd buy one for 80, maybe 100, but not 200 dollars.

I don't think that is accurate at all.
True, the 1990-era blowbacks were large, ineffecient, and clunky.

But the 1991-era blowbacks were all high-class. Consider the Pro/AM, F1 Illustrator, and Icon Z1.

Those 3 guns were built better then then probobly any blowback in the last 10 years. The only difference today is that companies have found ways to make them CHEAPER, by using plastics, cast metals, instead of expensive machined parts, etc

excellent point! i love the Illustrators f1 and 2...i want to use one now that you mentioned it!!!! past blowbacks were machined and made very well

but i hated my ProAm.....bought a mag right after that...STILL have mag!!! woot

but even back then the blowbacks were much more complicated as they are now...but it would be fun to mod a F1 or F2 so it has the features most cheep BBs have now

time to go to friends house who has like 4 Illustrators and take a couple
