Welding feedneck on spyder

I have a Spyder compact whose feedneck I removed forms project. After removing the weld and using an abrasive to rough up the surfaces, what is the best way to reconnect it?

I have JB weld but I can't believe that would work well. Should I get a welder to do it?

Yes it can be welded on.

Epoxy could work well too but be weaker.

Would silver solder be strong enough?

If you mean like silver braze it will work.

Silver solder like a 50/50 wire and a soldering iron from radio shack will not

^ seems legit. haha

I'm actually pretty dang excited to work on this thing, once the semester ends. A horizontal feed, cram n jam, spyder compact. I might make it a pump, but I definitely intend to make it pistol-esque, and to throw on a 12 gram changer either vert or horiz.

If I can figure out a horizontal 12 gr. changer, I'll get a short barrel, or cut the stock one, down so it is no longer than the 12 gram changer.

You could always bolt on a phantom feed block instead of welding the old one back on. That's probably what I would do, since I'm incapable of welding.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll probably look into that.

Horizontal 12g is easy. You have any mock up pictures of what you're trying to do? I might be able to slip it in with real work.
