I'm sure the fact that they are in some ways the direct competitor to the blazer and are far and away the more common/sought after/successful solution has something to do with that.

I did my own halfblock mod on borrowed machine time, and bought the sled, bolt, and arm from hvacman. And had him slot my hammer (i forgot to...). Works like a champ. So pretty much anyone halfway competent (even me!) can do the milling; it's the other parts I'd worry about.
