ANNO question...

this might seem like a silly question, but if i sent my gun in for a new anno, would they be able to do the barrel as well? if so would they anno the inside of the barrel and would it affect performance? i really don't know too much about annodizing so any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

They could anno it as long as it was aluminum instead of brass or stainless steel.

People get barrels match anno'd to guns all the time, it wont affect performance. If you reanno a gun multiple times you start worrying about tolerances going awry because the gun takes a nice acid bath during the process.

Its not the acid bath that throws off tolerances, its the stripping process.

And if its a barrel back you are worrying about,it can be masked to stay the same bore size. If its a one piece, you will go up one size i.e a 689 will become a 691, etc
