Who made wire detents so hard to find???
So my CCM S5 is missing a wire detent. I bought it that way. It was missing the beaver tail too, so I just bought one off of ebay at CCM's Factory Direct Store.
Very cool, lots of stuff to choose from there....
But no wire detents... I know I could just e-mail and ask, but that got me thinking... Where are all the old wire detents?
I could pillage my F1... But nah... Bob Long cockers? Old 32 degree cockers? Nah...
AKA used them...
But how come I can't find them? Is it some silly product that was used in ice skates and everyone knows where to get them but me?
So I ask ye experts... Where do you get them?

Model airplane and railroad hobby shops sell the music wire in various diameters in 3 foot lengths. For detent size it'll run you abour 70 cents for a yard of it.
I had a "Paintball God" moment once.
Like Al Bundy's Polk High football moment I live on
for the slim chance of repeating that one time
miracle in some small way.........
