can you anno the ss half of a two piece barrel?also will having my hammerhead barrel annoed ruin it?i was told it will ruin the inside of it.

You can only anno aluminum. Lots of barrels have been annodized. How would it be ruined?

Anno adds like 1/1000th of an inch to the bore unless you mask it off.

Unless the bore is already anodized. If it's an already anodized piece than the existing anodizing has to be removed, and then new anodizing takes its place. A good anodizer shouldn't change the tolerance by too much.
