Pretty sure they are... also another cool sight thats cheap is the Williams WGRS receiver sight. No click detents, but you still get the Ghost Ring effect, and its cheaper than most other receiver sights. You guys should check out some gunsmithing forums like the 1911 Forum, or even better, "Louder than Words". The level of perfection that a name gunsmith is able to squeeze out a project these days is staggering. It makes what most of us paintballers accept as 'custom' look kinda rough. I post over there as "Slopemeno" from time to time. |

Except my Carter Comp is a fixed one piece barrel. So the Sun Spot was easily removed w/o any tools during the times I had to break down my gun. (I have to remove the sight to be able to slip off the pump and under cocker rod.) Yeah, I know... I'm lazy *sigh*. I'll just need to figure out the threading dia. for the hole and order a new sight. No biggie I guess. | |

Lots of gunsmithing stuff is 6-48 threads for sights/scopes. Brownells has the taps. Millett uses a dual crimp setup for some of their front sights, so you'll usually see two closely spaced holes without threading. Millett has their own website that has a pretty good catalog of everything they've ever made as I recall. Last edited by sniperfan; 09-07-2006 at 08:38 PM. |

I use a scope mount ring. Simple, cheap, and its not gonna break. Works great for me.
