Looks more like ICD to me. If its a 4-lead thread, it's ICD, whereas a Raptor is a coarse (M22x2 or so) single-lead thread.

On a normal thread, there's one ridge that winds around the barrel. On a '4-lead thread' there's 4 ridges that wind around the barrel. Slowly turn the barrel while watching it, you can see where each ridge starts at the end of the threading.

Anywho, definitely not a raptor thread, no where near long enough. Looks ICD threaded to me.

Actually the Raptor threads are 7/8-14.

Hmm... so Raptor threads are 7/8-14, does that mean (old) Sterling is as well? Or is it just about the same, so close enough for gov't work?
