Question Converting a pirahna short barrel to take PGP internals??

I was doing some cleaning this past week and I found something that I totally forgot I still had - a gutted Pirahna short barrel body and trigger assemble/frame.

Is it possible to convert a sheridan short barrel body to take 12 grams like a pgp?

that valve won't work in a Piranha SB. you can't convert a SB to take 12 grams in the front of the lower tube like a PGP. the valve chamber is soldered and it's solid in the area where the chamber plug would go... i don't see how you could convert it unless i'm missing something...

also... the end of the lower tube would have to be threaded to use a 12 gram.

It could be done but be would be cheaper to trade it or sell it and get what you want.

We need someone to make up a trigger frame that does just that cleanly and so that the bottom plug uses a double or triple start thread for quick changes. An external hardline could then connect the top chamber with the peircing pin to the side body connection.

OK, OK, I'll get onto that after a couple of other projects....

Ahh yes you can... trust me...

The pic I posted is a replacement valve chamber....no one said it would be easy but yes it can be done and has been done..

Now dont get me wrong the front lower tube threads are a b-itch to get in but it will work...

Now I really do not recommend it unles you absolutely have to...the one I did was badly buggered up and it was either give it a try or scrap the gun or scrap the gun trying..

let me clarify my first post... when i said it won't work, i meant that about it being a drop in part that requires no modifications. i assumed the OP was looking for a drop in application. sure, it can be made to work but it'll take major mods.
