Price Check: Thermovalve tanks

As I continue to clear out the last remnants of my collection, I keep noticing that I have far more CO2 tanks than I'll ever use. Three or four of them have thermovalves and are in very good condition. 20 ounce and 12 ounce, I think. almost certainly out of hydro.

What are they worth? Does it make sense to sell these in the face of shipping costs? Thanks in advance.

The only worth is in the valves 10-15.

I recently sold 2 or 3 Valves with the hose and ASAs for $12 each...I think. Might have been $15 each, but right around B's estimate.

Thanks for the replies. My natural follow-up question is how one should go about removing the valve from the tank. First step is emptying the tank, of course. What are the subsequent steps?

Locking the valve in a padded vice and using a strap wrench to take off the tank. The tank will miight be removed clockwise.. but check with someone else on that.

The tanks and valves have conventional right hand threads, just unscrew them like you would a nut off a bolt.

That's right!!!.. just finer threads so that you require more turns per inch.
