| Village Idiot | Flat blazer rings So I searched and found that the "gap" on the delrin bolt oring son my blazer is normal what I haven't found is how they seal with that gap when a scratch on a "normal" oring causes a leak. Anyone have this answer for me? |

| Seasoned Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada | The bolt is only seeing pressure when the ball is fired. The gap probably causes a small loss of efficiency but the benefits outweigh this.

| Seasoned Member Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Northern California U.S.A. | A lot of bolts use NO o-rings at all ... some do. The smoothest bolts don't, the most efficient ones do Blazers flat ring design is some place in the middle, yet .... still very friction free. |
