I want a Sniper, but...

Well, I want to build me a basic Sniper as a winter project (among a few others), but I would like some input before I blindly jump into it.

1. Can Sniper auto-trigger?
2. If not, what to I need to make them AT capable?
3. About how many shots can a pre-2k get off of a 12oz tank, and a 9oz tank?
4. Will the LAPCO T-Stock fit a 12oz tank comfortably?
5. Which companies pump kit do you prefer? I'm stuck between the CMI and
WWA.
6. What are some good internals to use (mostly valve and bolt)?
7. What are a few HUGE bored old school barrels to watch out for?
8. Anyone know where I can buy a site rail-locking SC feed? I remember
seeing one but I can't remember where. It basically looked like a Phantom
SC feedtube, but it was able to clamp onto a 'Cocker sight rail with the
vert tube removed.

I want to make this my "old school" project. I want to make it California style (hence the t-stock), and I have an old Ammo Box loader I plan on using with it. I even plan on having an old large bore barrel gutted for Freak inserts.

Any other input would be much appreciated!

And for the sake of questioning, my other projects include building a blue/silver pneumag, building an "agg" pump (probably another Sniper), and trying to pneu-assist my Brute (for sh*ts and giggles).

And a bit off topic, can P-12's be auto-triggered? How about the P68SC's?

1. Can Sniper auto-trigger? Sheridan base doesn't come with a built in AT
2. If not, what to I need to make them AT capable? call CCM they use to have a AT pump kit/frame for sale or ask an Airsmith to make one
3. About how many shots can a pre-2k get off of a 12oz tank, and a 9oz tank? never really counted but somewhere north of 800 shots, it is more than you will ever need to play a full day of pump
4. Will the LAPCO T-Stock fit a 12oz tank comfortably? yes
5. Which companies pump kit do you prefer? I'm stuck between the CMI and
WWA.I am assuming you meant CCM, they are buttery smooth and very well built, that said I have never used a WWA one, so I am rather one sided
6. What are some good internals to use (mostly valve and bolt)?the stock ones, ideally you want a very restrictive valve and bolt
7. What are a few HUGE bored old school barrels to watch out for?stock ones most barrels back in the day were about 0.691
8. Anyone know where I can buy a site rail-locking SC feed? I remember
seeing one but I can't remember where. It basically looked like a Phantom
SC feedtube, but it was able to clamp onto a 'Cocker sight rail with the
vert tube removed.not made by anyone, other than a home mod of a stock feed clamp on with a scope ring

Not in any particular order ...

I use a 10oz tank on my 2k3 Sniper, and I've never come close to running out of air playing all day. I have no idea how many shots it'll get, but well over 200 that's for sure ... probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 500. I was never planning on using 12 grams, so chamber volume wasn't a concern.

I have the WWA pump kit, and I love it. I'm just a big fan of metal.

I set my gun up for high volume / low pressure operations with a vertical reg and a Rat valve. I don't care what anyone says, this particular gun is the most accurate marker I've ever shot, for whatever reason (c;

I have another gun with an autotrigger. I hardly ever use it. Personally, I wouldn't spend the money on one.

I also set my gun up to mimic the old California Style guns but to look modern too. I think I did a good job ...

As for the bore size, if you pick up a barrel you like and you find that the bore is not large enough a little honing can always do the trick.

I've only used one pump kit before CCM, so I can not really say good or bad things about it.
