Sure thing, I'll take some pics next time I've got the guns outta lockup.

I'll warn you, it's no aurora finish, but it's pretty cool~

I like interesting finishes. It doesn't have to be Aurora, I just wanted some cool color options for a possible Minimag.

If you go this route, you need to be`carefull or the feedneck will fall off. They are soldered on.

How did you get this finish? Is it the Titanium process mentioned above, I think I wouldn't mind doing something similar to my 1911, since I was thinking about going flashy with it, unless I decide to make it my carry gun, in which case I don't want it too flasy, but I have been really thinking about getting a Makarov as a carry gun instead of the 1911. I love my 1911, but it is a bit large.

The urine trick is priceless... can't wait until it makes it over to that other site. I can see it already...

"yoyoyo... cheak out my haWt gat! ... all i did was pee on it and baked it in teh oven and now it r0x0rz!!"

On that pic of the headers... aren't the ones that discolor like that chrome plated vs. actually being stainless?

I just use the urine itself for oxidizing barrels.

I've got an old Belgium Browning 12 guage, and it's got such a nice finish now that I use it to check the depth of streams when I'm out duckhunting. It's durable, looks good, and protects your gun for life (and then some).

I always knew the stainless headers to discolor, but I've also seen pre-colored headers for honda's/acura's too, so those could be plated then finished to look the part.

That import car make it look faster rather than perform is the same mentality behind most of PBN. All about image.

Does anyone have pics of a marker after it's been pissed on? I want to know what it looks like before I pee on my Minimag.
