Intimidator Help

i picked up an 06 empire for my dad- went through and made sure everything was clean, changed all the micro lines, lubed the hpr/lpr, cleaned the ran sleeve. it has the stock bolt, kila detents (any thoughts on these), and what was described in the ad as a 'prototype eigenram(?)'.
now, with the bolt removed and on dry fire, the marker cycles wonderfully. when i install the bolt, it cylcles and then the bolt appears to get stuck while cycling back into the body from the breach- sometime i can see the o-rings getting snagged. i was pretty sure i was using the correct ones- 115 in the manual (or 15? i'm not sure). if i remove the o-rings the bolt fires fine- sometimes it fires fine with the o-rings on. this is a bolt from another Gen 4. i'm fearing some sort of defect within the body itself, but everything looks clean. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Most likely you need some lube. Get some DOW 33, available at your local paintball store or online, and apply a small drip to each o-ring. Then rub it around there with your finger. Timmies also like 55, so use that on the parts that don't move(everything but the ram and the bolt). If this doesn't work, try new orings. 115 sounds right, but it could be too big. If your for sure it's 115, and it says it in the manual, then use those. Otherwise I would give 015 a try, which are also tank o-rings.

If that doesn't work, get someone else with a Timmy to let you borrow their bolt just to troubleshoot your gun. If their bolt works(and previously did in there gun) then you know it's the bolt. If it doesn't, you know it's the bolt.

No, but there could be a chance that your current bolt is messed up. Just to clarify, do not put 55 on any moving o-rings. Put 33 on that. Put some lube on the ram too, that could be your problem as well.. although it's not very likely as you said it cycles fine without the bolt.

Don't put dow on any of the bolt orings, use some oil instead.

Does the bolt have two orings or one?

dow 55 on EVERY ORING IN THE MARKER EXCEPT THE BOLT

OIL on the bolt...

yes, i felt the need to type that in caps...

15 sounds right for the bolt orings, not 115... id swap those out and see if it makes a difference.

If I recall correctly, manual is incorrect, the o-rings are 015. Also, best lube for the bolt is tri-lube.

I use my Timmy without any o-rings on the bolt. Works great and efficiency is just fine. I'd recommend removing them altogether!

Also, what pressure are you running the LPR at? It seems odd that it wouldn't have enough force to keep the bolt moving back...

Good call spin, the LPR might be a little low.
