wel i bought it last night.its a 2001 shocker sport 4x4, it has a glacier board. its set up fairly decent. i gave $165. only one barrel & some extra parts. old board etc... i really appriciate the help though. was it worth it? the guy would not go any lower

With a Glacier, a good buy, if it was a Glacier AT it would be a very good buy. You can get Shocker SFT/4x4 threaded barrels around alot these days. If it came with the stock 16" All American then there is no real need for another barrel.

If it is new enough to come with the two piece AA barrel, it takes freak/tactical/AA tips from SP so any size can be had.

If you want something a little lighter and more modern then try an Impulse. Super easy to work on and can be very efficient .
It seems to be as accurate as the Shocker but a little (can be a lot) faster. The last of the "good" SP markers.
