great markers. alot of what's that when your at the field. Don't let the seller bs you into thinking that it will shoot faster than it can. Max bps that the shoebox can shoot is about 12 rps.

To be precise - Shockers (the old ones) are capped at 11.2 BPS. They WILL not cycle or shoot any faster.

My first high end gun was a Shocker Turbo. It was easily the most consistently accurate tack driver of a marker I've ever shot. It seemed impossible to miss with that gun.

If you love your Shocker, it will love you. Plan on a complete tear down and regrease of both the marker and max-flo after every day of play. I never had a problem with mine because I cared for it religiously but the guys who neglected theirs never had any kind things to say about them.

If I loved it so much why did I get rid of it? It was ridiculously heavy. I believe it weighed out at 12+ pounds with a full 68ci CO2 tank and a revvy full of paint. It was so heavy that I could actually feel the grip frame flexing between the massive weights of the body and loader on top and the tank and max-flo on the bottom. The weight made it super accurate even during Turbo strings but an all day tourney left you exhausted from hauling it around.

The '99 Shockers IMHO were the best ever made. The 2K and on were lighter and had micro-switches on the board but they never felt as solid or as well built as the '99 I first had.

I've managed to cycle @ 13bps, without much dropoff. Stock DS board is capped at 11.25 but the LS board is capped somewhere around 12-13ish. The Morlock has been known to get around 13bps as well.

Some people have reported shootdown as low as 10bps But, I have not. I do note that with two 555 timers driving the noids through two mosfets at full auto only 20-30fps or so was lost @ 13bps. I consider this in the playable range.

I understand YDNA has managed to get 15bps from a heavily modified shocker, but it didn't exactly even look like a shocker when he was done with it. I am not certain whatever happened to the project.

That being said, without some sort of automatic fire, even 10bps is terribly hard to pull without some sort of shot buffer, the board is crap, pull two shots close together and it will only shoot once.

Sadly I am addicted to this marker. I know it is SP, but ever since I played at the CVPL tournament with one, I have been hooked. I used a 114/45 Raptor Rex and still worried about air though. I have two, and I couldn't be happier with them. I even got rid of my cockers, as the Shocker does closed bolt better.

Learn something new every day. I didn't know that.

You know, if it wasn't for the efficiency thing, I'd have a Shocker - I like Cockers, but I'm getting sick of them.

Get a 68ci tank and put a SP CO2 on/off valve stem in it. I used to get a lot of shots from mine, the shape of them made them much nicer to shoulder and the composite design reduced frostbite considerably and resisted freezing under extended turbo fire unlike the 20oz bottles.

I think I could get them to a fill weight of 68oz to 70oz if I kept them in the freezer and transported them to the fill station in a cooler.

What you should pay / my own ad :p

Of course try it out before purchasing. If it has no leaks and shoots well it should be ~$100 for a black bodied non turbo model with 1 barrel.

Start there and adjust price for options like annodizing, feed port (verts claim a higher price, but an intact air assist can be good too), extra barrels, a hpa system, remote, type of board...

Personally I have #001879--old enough to still have a sight rail. It has very pretty blue silver splash. Also I've updated it's board and put an updated regulator in a vertical mount.

I still have some other things I want to do with it, and I am hoping to get $160.

On the other end, I have the shoebox of Shoebox Shocker parts--It's basically an entire Shocker Turbo that I need to assemble and test. Even after I get that finished, I think it'd sell for 100. But I've really been wanting to sell it as it for cheaper recently.

This really isn't a for sale ad by me The bottom line is I would say about $100 for a plain vanilla, and possibly up to $200 for the fully decked out rarer one.

They are good marker, always been reliable for me. Can be heavy, not very compact markers. Remotes and Co2 are good.

They have some weight. But carrying one for a 24 hour game I never found that it wore me out. It is a gas hog. I think those batteries are hard to find but with some modding you can set it up for 9 volts.

Very good guns. Very quiet guns. I found that out of the 6 I had they all were extremely accurate, never had any problems. This is my 2nd favorite gun of all time, and my absolute favorite as far as electros goes. I wish I never would have gotten rid of mine.
