Nelson based would be easiest, thats what the PS-15 Marauder was, I have one somewhere, its a very simple design but the problem I have always encounterd is to have a spring fed mag with a 15 ball cap. It can go one of two ways : one the spring is too big and puts too much tentsion on the balls. OR Two: the spring isnt strong enough and you have to tilt the last 2-4 rounds out of the gun........

With a properly ramped feed slope, shouldn't be too much different than the Side-feed\top-feeds. Most issues are the springs used and their material.
I'll start shooting my 15rnd-per-side top-mounted springfed Nasty Painter upside down and post a vid clip if I get a chance.

sorry I am slow with this but the lower chamber is the "loader" there is a hinged ramp at the breach end that snaps open to load and when closed guides the balls into the breach, its spring fead but stops about 2 balls short of the loading, the spring is attached to the pump so it loads the ball right at the end of the pump cycle by pushing the ball (via the spring end) into the breach, I was looking to bolt action the whole thing for a sniper project.

Ah, you're going to custom-mount a bottomline on it. I had a brain fart and was thinking you needed at least past the bolt for the valve and air supply, but forgot the valve was behind the feed tube.

Very very cool.
