Bets prices on Steel braided line?

I've had it with macroline but I'm having trouble justifying the cost of switching over to steel braided line, especially if I want to go with quick-disconnects on some of my markers.

About $13-$14 Canadian for a section of line seems to be the best the mail-order places in Canada can do, with additional shipping from the US it seems to be about the same. Add in ninety degree fittings and quick disconnects for the markers that need it and it starts to add up.

If anybody has found cheaper (preferably in Canada but if the price is low enough I might go through the hassle of ordering from the US) I'd grateful for the info.

Not sure about the line - I've always had just enough from the various guns I've owned over the years - but I refuse to buy the fittings from a paintball store.

I can get a 90* fitting from the hardware store for a buck - I'm not going to pay a store $15+ for the same fitting with some nickel plating on it.

Try your local hardware store for fittings at least - you may be able to find line there too. Just make sure it's rated for your operating pressure. (And hydraulic pressure ratings are different than pneumatic pressure ratings.)
