Depends if the targets also are metal, down range a .177 has alot less chance then a .22 to knock it over. Depends if its paper only or metal targets and paper.

i'm sure every city has a law about shooting airguns in the city. i wouldn't worry about it.

do you have room to shoot indoors?

If your worried about it, there are usualy rifle/pistol ranges which will let you shoot air rifles at them. As for shooting indoors a good pellet trap will work just don't shoot towards anything valuable.

Crosman Pellet and BB Trap 850. TARGETS, PELLET and BB TRAPS, RANGES.

I have a gamo gun. They are pretty accurate and i have a .177 one and it still packs a punch so honestly if you have the money buy one. Or if you dont have the money buy the one in my sig for $150 obo with a 4x32 scope Ya I'm having the same problem that your having (the problem of not having a place to shoot it)

i'd say you were on the right track with the blue streak...simple, elegant, same stock as a kp so it feels the same firing either 5mm or .68 cal. ...and it'll last forever so you can leave to your kids...
