Buzzard pump arm fix...

How many Buzzard users have had the pump arms scratch your collar? Well I may not be the first to find an answer but I will post my findings.

It came to me the other morning. I took 2 small (very small) o-rings (they came off of my CCM pump kit) and put the pump arm screw through the pump arm and then slid the o-ring over the screw and then threaded it into the bolt. Do that on both sides and now the pump arm stays pretty much centered.... here are some pics.

I hope this will help someone.

Peace

My 1999 Carter came like that, that idea works well.

Cool... great minds think alike. I tried the o-rings on the other side of the pump arm and it caused it to bind.

Thanks

Yeah.. the oring on the other side would push the arm in towards the body and therefore put some goofy forces on the bolt and such.

Good stuff! It's those little things that you can come up with that seem to be a real life saver!

Mine did that too,it's also already worn down fromthe years of it being that way,I just took a couple stick on felt pads on the collar and slightly bent out the arms (mine has soild arms so it shouldn't hurt it) now it doesn't rub at all
