You can get them set up in a bunch of ways. You could run a hardline to a vertical air adapter, and there wouldn't be much out the back.

Maybe hit the gym and a few ounces of weight will not make a difference? JK

S6? Carter Mini Comp?

Lighter is not always better.

Yea 'cause having that large air-tank/shirt really would make that big of a difference

And be careful those "Gator" cars pop out of nowhere

Most people don't know that skittish is the proper spelling for "jittery". Don't believe me... Look it up.

No, a Phantom has just about the same length of receiver as a Sniper/cocker.

In the end, it all adds up to feel. Right now I'm building a Springfed, 12 gram powered Lever action nelson rifle, because I can't for the life of me play pump, But for some reason, a lever action feels 100% natural.

But fact of the matter is, a Traccer with 12 gram off the rear ASA, with a 10 round tube stuck in the feedneck would work Just as well, for half the effort and cost.
But it wouldn't -feel- right.

Correct, Sidekick Stock or DSDS. Pistol-ized Phantoms with a composite grip (M16 style) are pretty close.

...another choice might be one of the old "Brutes." They were very light--I played with them a couple of times, though I had to seat my tank with a spare o-ring--and a few of them were on sale here a while back.

Dropout Phantom pistols or ones setup Island style feel the most compact to me.

Traded away.

you can alway halfblock, migitize, and mini, and mill down the tubes on a cocker body.. that basically makes it ridicolously small and light.. Its almost half the length of a full cocker body.
