| Screw size help If I can't find the size of a threading I have then what can I do? Story is long but the previous owner rethreaded it/had someone do it (professionally) and I don't know what size the screw is. It's larger then the standard cocker frame to body screw and that's about all the info I have. I do not have a caliper to measure it for me. I'm trying to purchase it online so I don't have to take my body to home depot, open all the boxes and try them out (and cut them at home). Any tricks to it? If I can't find out I'll just take it to home depot.

| www.pbpumpshop.com | What is it going in exactly? Standard frame mounting screws on a cocker are 10-32. If they went larger, next logical step would be to go 1/4". 20 thread count is common, but 24 is available. The hammer lug is 1/4-28. Give some details before I go into a full paragraph |

| I thought it was 1/4-20 and -28, with -24 a specialty size.

Unless to find a screw that is the same to test with, you wont know. The only gun I can think of that uses 1/4 20 screws is a Defiant. Maybe take a picture? | |
