| Newbie | Valve and spring combos? I have a Super Bolt mini converted to a half block. Before the half blocking, I needed to run very heavy main and valve springs to get this up to 280 fps. I blamed much of that on the gas hog venturi bolt. After the conversion, the stock valve with the heavy springs made this thing kick like a mule and sound like a cannon. Tried changing the springs to Maddman green for both and put in an Eclipse valve. The reg was sweet spotted at 400 psi, but I couldn't get velocity past 145 until I changed the main to a blue spring. Now the velocity is good, but I'm getting venting. I'm afraid if I bump up the valve spring to blue, I'm going to have to increase the main again. By the way, with the blue main and green valve this thing totally sucked down air! Some of it was due to venting, but that wasn't all if it. I've got the stock valve and the Eclipse valve and don't really care to keep taking this thing apart. What would be a good suggestion for a probable "finishing" point? Here's the marker, by the way. Ano was done by 125 Customs. ![]()

| Keep in mind that halfblock hammer assemblies are way way lighter than fullbody hammer assemblies, so a heavier main spring is usually a given.

| Newbie | It's a WWA pump kit for a mini. What kind of mod do you recommend?

| Seasoned Member | I think you have to drill or "bore" out an opening Jubes? To increase air flow? I think you just need to bug a certain teammate that has THREE ccm mini kits. Jay

Try light valve/medium main, or medium/medium. | |

| In addition to doing the mods you've already done, there still may not be enough volume behind the main valve for stable low pressure ops [you've decreased flow restrictions not really added volume]. To remeady that I've both drilled out up into the guide rod to increase volume and/or used an expansion knuckle [PTP used to make/sell] between the reg and ASA. This is a particular problem with any Mini milled Autococker/Sniper.
