| Is A Typhoon Worth It? I have a 2K Blazer and have had the itch for a couple of years (on & off) to pick up a Typhoon (and now I have that itch again). My questions is are they worth it? I realize this is subjective, but just tell me your opinion. I would love to try one out, if you are in the St. Louis area, let me know! I try to play once a month and mostly play rec ball, although I am considering a beginner 3 man local tourney. I am a big fan of PPS stuff. |

| MCB Member | I poked a poon for a few games and played with a blazer for 1.5 yrs. They're very nice, but I cant stand the fact that you can't switch out barrels. Paint size just gets to me. I have to have mine matched. I also prefer the compactness of the blazer, even though the difference isn't really that huge. Poons are for looks, blazers is more functionality. That's my feel for it. VVV He's right, I didn't really want one all that much, it's really personal preference, I'm a functionality type of person, not really all for wants. | I wouldn't say Phoons are for looks, I'd say it's more about the feel. If you are itching for one, you'll probably enjoy it. It's seems that normal Typhoons have been a little slow moving in the BST lately, you might be able to pick up a deal on one.

| I got a typhoon so that I could play both semi and pump play with the same gun. My pump kit lives on my typhoon, with a small adapter I made to hold the pump still in semi mode. That said, I probably wouldn't buy another now, unless it had a BBT type removable barrel. Otherwise, get a Blazer with a pump kit, a Pyre, etc. |

| I'll take a Typhoon over a Blazer any day. Just personal preference, I guess. Jordan

| I've shot a few 'phoons as well over the years. I eventually sold or put stocks on all my 'Phoons as I find the Blazer to be superior in nearly every practical way to a Typhoon, all things considered. I think it would be fun if we all spent the next couple of decades buying up all the Typhoons and slapping wood stocks on to them. Hurricanes for all! D

I too plan to eventually put my new to me Typhoon in a stock, as soon as I can locate one and an extra $300-$400. Jordan
