Looking For A Nice Pump

So I need some help on choosing a nice, simple pump gun. I already have a Trracer but i'm not looking to use it as my main gun. I want something that is pretty compact, has a backbottle adapter, and isn't extremely expensive. I was thinking about a Sheridan but I really know nothing about them. I also don't want a Sheridan with a wooden frame. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

If you want a backbottle sheridan a piranha LB is the best choice by far. They are great.

89 dollar PPS performance tune will have it shooting like glorious heaven, too.

Sheridan Brass for Sale PMI-I, LB, SB, P68

Yes it is. That thread has a buncha nice ones with good wood grips.

Id send it strait to PPS and ask for 2 wedgits to prevent roll outs. It would be a good shooter for life. Maybe have the hardline replaced with whatever PPS will give ya..or get a few seals for the banjo screws and the stock hardline will work for many years to come.

But even without a performance tune it will be a good gun.

I hate backbottles but id run an air line from the back bottle down to a bottomline. Piranha's are probably my favorite sheridan.

Not too heavy. Ever held any brass guns? Definitely 3lbs or over. Definitely heavier than your traccer significantly.

3-pounds, gun only, right on the mark!

Right on. The one I had was a PMILB with a cut down barrel, so I couldn't trust my guesstimation.

They come out feeling fine and dandy. Compared to a modern gun with a 2LB POS Halo hopper and a 2.5 LB HPA tank, a sheridan with a 7 oz co2 tank and a vl200 feels peppy and light.

makes me wonder. i mean really. alot of agglets are saying every ounce shaven is better for them!!!!! and then they stick a nearly 3 pound loaded hopper and an HPA tank and then talkabout the older, tons more heavier markers that happens to be lighter than them

Look into an old Sterling... my STP came with a backbottle adapter, is very compact considering the size of the barrel (13"), and shoots darts.
