A/S CO2 on a Mag?

Am I ok with A/S on a Mag? I don't shoot more than 6 BPS anyways, and I really would like to try it out this coming weekend.

I'd buy a cheap HPA tank, but I've been spending a little too much on paintball lately - unless I can sell my Sniper, I'm a little strapped for cash right now.

If it is a classic valve you will be ok.

In the manual, it says you can use CO2 when it is over 50 F outside without problems.

Yeah, classic valve - I'm sure it's going to be over 50 F this weekend.

I ran a classic on CO2 for years without any problems. Anti-syphon and expansion chamber.

You can also go old school if you're cheep and just run a loooooong hose from the tank to the valve looped around a couple of times. 'Mags hate liquid CO2.

Right now I just have a bottomline with matched A/S to a vertical adapter, and from there a line to the valve.

If I had a long piece of line, I'd loop it, but I don't at the moment.

If I run into any problems, I always have the Sniper and Cocker to fall back on, and soon a Hurricane.

I played NPPL in the early 90s with mine on CO2. I did a vert 20 oz to a 3.5 oz back bottle expansion chamber, and sometimes just did the 20 oz vert. Sniff Good times... Sniff
