It's binding somewhere in the driveline. They're not that bad on batteries. Tear it down, check to make sure everything is spinning free and easy and if not, find out why. A dirty or worn motor can cause the same problems so consider a motor change if you can't find anything else binding.

99 cent store "alkolyne" batteries are way way way crapper than any real alkaline.

Uh yeah at our local Wally world there are two types of Rayovac batteries one kind is the same cost as energizer and duracell and the other kind is 99cents for two 9v or 4 aaa or aa. (personaly my favorite battery)

The 99cent rayovac batteries are the ones that fixed my eggy problem as they are about an 1/16 of an inch longer than the expensive batteries to make a full connection where as the shorter duracells and energizers wouldn't run the loader without pushing on the battery door.





Ratfink - I'm guessing that your testing the batteries on a battery tester to make sure that they are truely dead then. Isn't there a sensitivity setting for the Reloader? could it be set to high and running constantly? But I guess you would hear it running constantly then. Sorry, I don't own one so I'm unable to add to much help. Good luck.
