Sheridan From Palmer's Pursuit?

A lot of sheridans that i've seen look to be in brand new, mint condition. I also hear a lot of people talk about Sheridans and Palmer's Pursuit at the same time. Does Palmer's Pursuit Shop build Sheridans? Please help, i'm really lost. Thanks in advance!

Palmers build Sheridan based guns, but they're not actually Sheridans. Lower tube (hammer, valve, sear etc) is based on the K-series dimensions.

PPS also is one of the only places you can get work done or parts for original Sheridans. You can order spare parts or send your gun in for a performance tune/update.

Where would one find information on this? What's involved and the like. I'd hate to call up and ask "can you make it better" without knowing atleast a little of what my options are.

It's all under "Guns/Sheridan" in the PPS store:

Modifications : Palmers Pursuit Shop!, Where Custom Still Means Something

There's also a few items that aren't on there, like adding Wedgits, ball detent etc.

As far as what's worth it and what's not, search Sheridan and PPS sections here for "palmerization" or "performance tune" and you should see a lot of discussion on it.

Edit: Put in a better link.

So if I wanted a Sheridan P68, Palmers could build one?

What if I bought an old P68, could I send it to Palmer's to make it like new?

I would just buy a superstocker. Unless you want DF, then go with the houndstooth. Similar markers, but better efficiency and accuracy. Or buy a used P68 and send it in to get it palmerized.

They won't scratch build you one but they can either tune an old one up or build you one from their catalogue.

PPS does not make sheridans. There guns are like sheridans but improved. They can build you a gun like a p68 but it will be different.

They can also palmerize a p68..which are very plentiful (the 68's not the palmerized ones)

Best bet for questions on what can and can't be done would be to call the shop. They're super friendly over there, and more than likely calling this number will result in you buying something cool.
