KP3 questions...

just a few quick ones:
is the KP3 the same as the Pirahna rifle?
is the reciever drilled/taped to accept a standard sheridan trigger frame; if not, would this be hard to do?
how hard would it be to swap out the barrel/reciever assembly with that of another sheridan or sheridan-based marker?
thanks.

Yes the KP3 and Pirahna are the same. I'm not sure enough to say on the rest. I don't think you can swap between K series and P series but I'm sure C6 will know better than me.

I was under the impression you cannot DIRECTLY swap. The hammer/sear and screw setup are a little diffrent.

However there are adaptors, and only minor changes needed.

yep, kp3 and piranha rifle are the same.

you can't put a standard trigger frame on a kp directly. you'll have to replace the standard kp anchor nut with a nutsert. i'm not sure without looking, if the nutsert location will be in the same spot as the original anchor nut or not.

here's a pic of a kp that has a trigger frame mounted to it. it's the top one in the pic.

i'm thinking of swapping the KP3 body/reciever out of the stock and replacing it with one of my vipers... and then put a standard grip frame (or mayby a ccm w/ a noxx adapter) on the KP3 body/reciever (would this be hard to side tap for air?).
thanks for the info

Sounds like you need a bluestreak rifle to convert, it'll give you the stock and trigger group. Might be a better idea than tearing up a KP.

No different than doing it to a KP stock. I believe you'll have to drill a new hole in the stock or a new hole in the viper body.

is the viper based on p-series body or k-series? either way it's not hard to convert, i'd go with frink on this one and just do a conversion on the viper...leave the kp alone
