| MCB Member Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: San Diego CA | KP3 questions... just a few quick ones: is the KP3 the same as the Pirahna rifle? is the reciever drilled/taped to accept a standard sheridan trigger frame; if not, would this be hard to do? how hard would it be to swap out the barrel/reciever assembly with that of another sheridan or sheridan-based marker? thanks. |

| www.yankeepaintball.com | Yes the KP3 and Pirahna are the same. I'm not sure enough to say on the rest. I don't think you can swap between K series and P series but I'm sure C6 will know better than me. Tug

| Seasoned Member | I was under the impression you cannot DIRECTLY swap. The hammer/sear and screw setup are a little diffrent. However there are adaptors, and only minor changes needed.

| MCB Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: NC | yep, kp3 and piranha rifle are the same. you can't put a standard trigger frame on a kp directly. you'll have to replace the standard kp anchor nut with a nutsert. i'm not sure without looking, if the nutsert location will be in the same spot as the original anchor nut or not. here's a pic of a kp that has a trigger frame mounted to it. it's the top one in the pic. |

| bringing back the dead Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: pensacola, florida | is the viper based on p-series body or k-series? either way it's not hard to convert, i'd go with frink on this one and just do a conversion on the viper...leave the kp alone
