I used a 12g in it, and upon unscrewing the bucket to remove the 12g, it locked up. The bucket wont unscrew from the top piercing assembly, not even when clamped into a vice. I scratched the hell out of the knurling using the vice, and it's just stuck. Is this changer just useless now? Not a great use of $15, I should look into a CCI changer. |

As for the BE unit id just toss it away or use it as a gas through grip with a dummy 12 gram. Dont put the body of the BE unit in the vise, put the top where it has wrench flats in the vise, then use a strap wrench or pipe wrench to open it up. When you do make the switch to the CCI unit there is a spot inside for an allen key for unit removal, do not use tools on the outside of the unit.
