Nelson Pump Arm Screws

Hey all,

When I received my Wintec Scorpion II nelson clone, it had 2 pump arms, but only one pump arm screw was attached to the bolt, the other screw was missing. The screw, was a nice, shiny brass finger adjustable one. This wasn't too bad, since I bought the marker for 30 dollars, but it was a nuisance since I wanted it to be complete.

I looked online for one more screw, to no avail. I contacted PPS, they said they had one, I paid for it, but it was just a brass body screw when I got it.

I went to play a speedball game the other day with my Scorpion, and wouldn't you know it, while playing, the pump arm screw I had on there went flying off and I lost it. So now the pump is not attached at all.

I've posted WTB ads for new pump arm screws, and nothing has turned up.

My questions are this: Are these brass nelson pump arm screws super rare? Is there a store that sells them? Would a hard ware store stock them?

Thanks for the link! That'll work in a pinch, I'm really hoping to get my hands on some brass screws.

Thanks, I'll pop him a PM.

Already check Bacci's sale. He only had 2 screws, and they are long sold out

I'm sure some application, other than paintball, might use nice looking brass screws.

Check the lighting/electrical aisle at home depot. You might have to buy an entire ceiling fixture, but many of them have fancy, finger adjustable brass screws and nuts. Getting the right size and pitch might be a little more tricky.

You could always get some brass rod and an appropriate die and lathe yourself up some, or have someone with a lathe do it for you?

Hey there's a good idea, I will check online for ceiling fixture parts. Some place must sell the screws loose.

If that doesn't work I will contact one of our machinists to make me up a bunch. Thanks for the suggestions!

slip a small rubber o-ring on the screw, that will help the screw from coming loose.

I will try the rubber oring trick for sure!

So I have a lead on some of these screws. I was wondering if someone could give me the dimension of their nelson pump arm screws, threading, length and diameters. Thanks!

If you find some good ones, please share. All markers can use more brass!
