I have the black cloud

Bah! The first time I play paintball in a while and something goes wrong!

So this weekend I was playing with my mag and all the sudden co2 came out the end of the valve. I stopped playing with it and continued on. Well I was cleaning my stuff today and decided to air it up. Still has the leak out the back but also there is a leak somewhere at the front of the bolt and it only stops when I make use the trigged is pulled. Any ideas.

First thing I woud do is run some oil thru it and see if it helps - it usually does with mags. Then:

Leak out the back - What was your marker chronoed at? Try turning down the velocity. If you were using CO2 and it was hot out, expanding CO2 may have overpressurized the reg.

Leak down barrel that stops when trigger is held - Check the O rings in the on/off and the powertube O ring.

Yeah, what he said.

Just about any issue with a mag can be fixed with an o-ring kit.

Ran some oil through it and checked the rings they all appear fine. The "leak" is still there but its slacked off. It use to be that when I put my thumb to it I could feel the pressure of the air blowing through the hole but not when I put my thump there I feel nothings.

I've fought stuff like this before. You may not be able to see that an o-ring is shot. Every time I've been hit with one of these, I fiddle for a bit and then replace all the o-rings, and the reg seat. Fixes it every time. I've probably had 2 old mags off eBay do the exact same thing, and that's how I fixed it.

mag leak

I think you have to adjust the valve in the back with an allen key...easy to do.....adjust with the tank on.
I have this problem and its always a simple adjustment.
