| Clean the threads on the barrel and the gun body... add some oil and don't ever crank it on that hard again. Just thread it on, no need to force it on there. E

| 'Cuz nothin's tighter than crossthreads When you assemble two threaded pieces together and the parts are not straight, the threads don't line up and become crossed. The threads can become damaged. Inspect them to ensure that they are straight and even both on the barrel and in the body. Sometimes, metal shavings are present. |
