Is this the proper way to do a hardline setup?

hi everyone

I want to do a hardline setup, and i know i asked here before regarding where to buy the hardline.

So:::::

If i get this:
1/8 NPT Elbow to 3/16 compression tube [FITT062] - $4.45 : Palmers Pursuit Shop!, Where Custom Still Means Something

and this
Seamless Hardline/Metal Tubing [FITT072] - $4.00 : Palmers Pursuit Shop!, Where Custom Still Means Something

Can i do a hardline setup? This is for a mag, so the output psi is 850 psi out of a Crossfire reg.

Both of them are rated to handle psi much higher than that, so should that be ok?

Secondly, is there a maximum length for a hardline? Mine would need to be at least 1.5 ft long to 2 ft long. Will that be a safety issues?

Should i just stick with stainless steel tubing instead?

Thanks

personally I would go with stainless, it's a little sturdier.

what on earth do you need a 2 foot hardline for?

the 2 ft hardline is for the routing:

It's going to go from:

Asa through an empty emag battery pack back out to where the automag valve is....so that's a pretty lengthy path.

Only thing I can think of is that you may want to buy a brake-line hand bender or something of the sort. You kink that hose, and you'll never get the pinch out of it.

Not to mention that stainless is pretty friggin' hard to bend by hand.

Bending pipe is sometimes tricky. Moonshiners had a lot of problem bending the copper tubing for the condenser coils. It was discovered that first filling tube with sand, then bending prevented kinking. This might help in your task if you need a tight radius. Post how you did task and results.

Copper, especially the larger tubing, is tricky to bend by hand. Use a mandrel to bend it, or a pipe bender, and you won't have a problem. Take your time, that's all.

you can also fill with water and stick it in the freezer - the ice works like the sand - and it's easier to clean out after you're done.
